Wtf is Faded Distortion?

Faded Distortion is a group dedicated to strengthening the gaming community.  What does this mean?  We carry out several types of projects in order to give the gaming community a dignified spot in our society today.  You may be asking yourself, "what projects?"  Well we've separated it into the following departments:

Event Department

Faded Distortion's main priority is our gaming events.  We attempt to host several events a year dedicated to gaming.  These events can range from small, single-game tournaments all the way to full blown gaming conventions.  Our event projects go by the name GameStruck™.  Activities at most of our events can include (but is not limited to) free play gaming, tournaments with all types of prizes, live music and entertainment, live videos, live guests related to the gaming community, and much more!  Event Promotion is also a big deal within our Events Department.  We will promote most any gaming event (especially ones located near us).  The way we do this is by advertising online as well as at other events or in our local area.  This department will also do what we like to call a "FDR" or Faded Distortion Review.  Whats that?  Well an FDR is when we decide to attend an event, enjoy it, take LOTS of pictures, and then write a review on how the event went as well as providing information about the next event.  We then post this review, along with pictures, up on our website for all to read.  This gives the event a good name and refers all of the review's readers.  Event Assistance is another branch of our Events Department.  This part of the department offers help to event organizers by offering staff volunteers to help out at their events.  We send out our own staff members to these other events to help organize tournaments, run sales tables, help unpack/pack up before and after the event, or anything else we are asked to do for the event.  This allows us to lend a helping hand to these event organizers as well as the gaming community.

Music Department

Faded Distortion's Music Department is dedicated to providing the gaming community and the world with music that relates to video gaming.  Not only are there several projects worked on by Faded Distortion, but we also promote other bands and artists.  This could be a band/artist that writes music about video games or one that covers actual video game music.  This department is also strongly dealt with by Faded Distortion because it gives the gaming community another arm to reach out to the world.

Art Department

Faded Distortion also deals with gaming related art.  Once again, there are several projects being done by Faded Distortion themselves.  However, we still promote other artist's work as well.  This covers a wide variety of different types of things.  These arts could include just about anything artistic that relates to video games.  This is another department that is heavily dealt with because of its strong influence in and out of the gaming community.
